In the article titled “Hydroxytyrosol [2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethanol], a natural phenolic compound found in the olive, alters Ca2+ signaling and viability in human HepG2 hepatoma cells”, published on pages 30 to 36 to, Issue 1, Volume 65 of Chinese Journal of Physiology,[1] the text is written incorrectly as “At 200 μM, hydroxytyrosol evoked [Ca2+]i elevations of 20 ± 2 nM [Figure 1]b. Demonstrated in [Figure 1]c are dose-signal relationships.” instead of “At 200 μM, hydroxytyrosol evoked [Ca2+]i elevations of 20 ± 2 nM [Figure 2]b. Demonstrated in [Figure 2]c are dose-signal relationships.”

The authors apologize for the error and any confusion it may have caused.
