In the article titled “Glucocorticoid transiently upregulates mitochondrial biogenesis in the osteoblast”, published on pages 286 to 293, Issue 6, Volume 63 of Chinese Journal of Physiology,[1] the affiliation for the author “Chien-Ning Hsu” is marked incorrectly as “1Department of Orthopedics, Taoyuan General Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taoyuan, Taiwan, 2Graduate School of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Yuan Ze University, Taoyuan, Taiwan”, instead of “1Department of Orthopedics, Taoyuan General Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taoyuan, Taiwan, 8Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Yuan Ze University, Taoyuan, Taiwan.

The authors apologize for the error and any confusion it may have caused.
