The original article titled “Effect of Intermittent Administration of hPTH(1-34) on Cortical Bone Geometry in Rats Treated with High-Dose Glucocorticoids” published in Chinese Journal of Physiology, on pages 231-237, Issue 5, Volume 57, 2014 [1], is being retracted because there are concerns regarding ethical, data authenticity and authorship. On investigation, the corresponding author as well as the institution of the corresponding author did not respond to the concerns. Such publications violate the editorial policy of Chinese Journal of Physiology, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.

This article has been retracted on request of the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
